On Friday, September 24th, Digital DUMBO will host a special event kicking-off the first ever Digital Summit at the Dumbo Arts Festival. The event will be hosted at St. Ann's Warehouse in DUMBO, beginning with a brief presentation by SnapGoods CEO & Co-Founder, Ron J. Williams, on the "Access Economy & Collaboration." Following the presentation guests are invited to stick around for plenty of networking with free beer and cocktails.
This will be the first year that digital programming has been included in the Dumbo Arts Festival. The 3-day inaugural Digital Summit will highlight the best and brightest in New York's Digital District with panel discussions, presentations, installations and discussions with digital/new media leaders and innovators.
Digital DUMBO has also partnered with SnapGoods to provide its community a place online to easily and safely share the things it wants and has to borrow and lend; thereby saving money, time and reinforcing the value of collaboration. This platform is live on DigitalDUMBO.com/sharing and SnapGoods.com/dd. For more information on this partnership, please read the press release.
Important Note: Unlike past Digital DUMBO events, it is absolutely imperative that you bring your ticket for entrance to this event as seats are limited. If you are uncertain if you can attend, do not RSVP. Seating is limited!
